Dustin stands at 6 feet even and has shoulder length black hair that he keeps neat, he has a square-shaped face and a strong jaw-line; he has almond-shaped bright blue eyes, a large delicate nose and thick full lips; his features are sharp, strong, and chiseled; he looks almost of Asian descent.
He prefers to wear blue and White clothing whether it’s his casual clothing or his formal wear; usually he is seen with a black panther at his side and sometimes a metallic pterodactyl on his shoulder.

Dustin is a very quiet kind of man, mostly focusing on his work, but he is very kind and caring; he looks up to Varin (Optimus Prime), Stardancer Prime, Stargazer Prime, Skylar (Skyfire), and Akadeanna (Flowerdancer Prime); he is fiercely protective over his cassettes/children; and especially over Akadeanna (Flowerdancer Prime).
History: Dustin was born on the outskirts of Iacon City on Cybertron; however not as a Human child, but a Ground-Based Sparkling with the name of Soundwave. He grew up in the outskirts of Iacon City getting the basic education that he could.
When he was old enough he entered Iacon Academy where he studied and excelled in both Science and Medical; graduating second in his class. While celebrating his graduation with some classmates of his Soundwave was raped by an unknown assailant, leaving him Sparked with 4 Sparklings.
He refused to terminate them even without knowing who their Sire was and he raised 4 alone a set of twins he named Rumble and Frenzy, and 2 single ones that he named Ratbat and Buzzsaw.
Wanting revenge on the Mech who raped him he joined Starscream’s cause with the Decepticons, he believed in what the Seeker said and so he joined them, raising his 4 Sparklings in the cause.
It angered him when he watched Starscream start abusing his men trying to find out who his (Starscream’s) creators were; it was during the time of Starscream abusing the Decepticons that Soundwave met a Flier named Savage and the two started getting to know each other better.
Soundwave saw Starscream’s hatred for Humans as well watching him attempt to attack a Human child twice when she was a mere infant killing 2 Seeker who were trying to protect her and then getting his aft kicked in his second attempt by Skywarp, Thundercracker, and Skyfire; 2 of his own men and one neutral who was living with Skywarp and Thundercracker.
He then also watched when Starscream attacked who he believed was the same young girl killing her Seeker escort, but he was amused as the young girl turned into a red and black Seeker and wiped the floor with Starscream.
He felt sorry for the young girl as she had seemed close to the Silver and Green Seeker who Starscream had killed, vowing one day to leave the Decepticons and protect her. He watched as Starscream later started taking the anger out on Skywarp and Thundercracker.
One day while he was sitting near Skywarp and Thundercracker in the Rec Room it was only 4 of them; himself, Skywarp, Thundercracker, and Skyfire in the room he listened to the 3 talk about leaving the Decepticons for good; he learned the same young girl was 18 at the time and Megatron had just betrayed the Autobots and things had gotten worse.
Soundwave pleaded with the 3 Seekers to let him and his mate Savage join them in turning against the Decepticons and going Code Black meaning they were defecting to the Autobots, Skywarp agreed and that night the 3 Seekers, 1 Flier, and 1 Ground-Based Mech headed for a meeting spot with Flowerdancer and the 5 turned to the Autobots.
Soundwave had been in shock learning that the girl who had been named Akadeanna and became Flowerdancer Prime 3 days after they defected had been the one who left the present of a Black Panther and a Pterodactyl for him; learning that she had not known why he had been crying the day she had lost Flightplan; he had been crying because she was sad.
He was angry when he learned when Akadeanna was 42 that she had been attacked and killed, but he stayed with the Autobots and followed them to Cybertron during the Fairy Prince’s 4th cycle, and he was actually the one to find Flowerdancer and Skyfire very much alive in Vos and he passed it on to the Autobots.
It was when he was catching up with Flowerdancer that he learned why she was crying that day she lost Flightplan and he had told her that he was crying because she was sad and he told her of the vow he had made.
He was there when Flowerdancer and Skyfire became Bondmates and when Optimus and Moonstar renewed their bond; and he wasn’t thrilled when they returned to Earth, but he returned with them.
He helped them build Halloween Weyr then helped them settle into the new Weyr, he was searched during the building of the Weyr by a Gold named Rinth. He now waits for the Hatching, but doesn’t look forward to Threadfall, but he plans to fight even if he doesn’t have a Dragon because of being made of metal as Soundwave he knows the Thread can’t hurt him as Soundwave. He still holds a major hatred of the Decepticons; and he is still hoping one day to find his rapist.
