SITE WIDE PLOT
The Titans Tower in Jump City has been attacked and destroyed. As far as the world knows, the Teen Titans are now homeless. Who was behind the attack? That's up to the Titans to discover. But that's not the only threat Jump City is facing. After massacring the small town of Coalfield, California, a villainous organization known as Nebula has set its sight on Jump City. Why? No one knows. Together the Titans with the help of the East Titans, Young Justice, and Rider's Deck must fend off common crooks, super-villains, and Nebula. Can they handle it? Or will they fall? To find out, see We're Falling Fast.
With all that's going on, one may begin to wonder: where's the Justice League? With their strength and numbers, why aren't they helping the Titans? Unknown to the eyes of the civilians, the Justice League has been disappearing. One by one heroes are vanishing, but it's only the adult heroes. Their "sidekicks" or the younger heroes are seemingly unharmed. Perhaps whoever's behind it only views the adults as threats. Whatever the reason, with the heroes vanishing, the burden of world safety has fallen on the shoulders of the next generation. They must defend humanity and find out what's happening to the Justice League.
Together the next and previous generations have to band together to rescue the missing heroes. But little do they know the full scale of what they have been thrust into.
The Fatal Five along with several other villains from the 30th Century have traveled back in time and messed with the past. They've allied themselves with the Injustice League and together, they convinced the Preserver to start taking Earth's heroes, to preserve them on his ship. But only they know that part of their plan. The remaining heroes and their allies have no clue what is happening to their missing comrades.
So why has the Preserver agreed to take the heroes? Just what is he preserving them from? What does he think he's saving them from? Simply put, it's another part of the Fatal Five, Injustice League, and their allies' plan.
For something is coming.
Not just an apocalypse.
But the Apokolips.
ABOUT THE SITE
New Genesis: Apocalypse is an alternate universe next generation DC Comics role-play site. We're literate and at an intermediate to advanced level of role-playing. We are based off of the pre-New 52 world of DC Comics, not any of the movies, shows, or New 52.
We have a lot of original next generation characters, and while we still welcome original characters and next generation characters, we are looking for a lot of canon characters at the moment. Our plot lays heavily on us having both next generation and canon characters.
We are roughly seventeen to twenty years in the future from the pre-New 52 comics. This doesn't mean that original next generation characters are limited to being between seventeen and twenty years old. We are an alternate universe site, meaning that the next generation could have existed during the time of the comics. Also canon aging is roughly estimated, and you don't have to be clear on how old a canon is.
